The way in which your money is protected will vary depending upon the type of holiday you choose. We provide financial security for our flight-inclusive packages by way of our Air Travel Organiser’s Licence. Financial protection for our package holidays which don’t include flights comes via a bond held by ABTA. Together, these protections ensure that, once you’ve booked your holiday, you can relax and look forward to your time away, without having to worry about what tomorrow might bring.

One Traveller is a fully accredited, ATOL certified Tour Operator. Aside from the holiday itself, receiving an ATOL certificate with your booking confirmation pack is a fundamental part of any flight-inclusive booking you make with us.
We take pride in the fact that we are an ATOL certified travel company. It is a sign that we have taken every precaution to protect you as an individual in the unlikely event that we cease trading.
How does ATOL work?
Choosing One Traveller for your next solo holiday means you are booking with a company that has have been checked and certified by the Civil Aviation Authority (commonly referred to as the CAA), so if we cease trading, you’re left in safe hands:
✓ If you’re on holiday, ATOL will help you finish your break and get home again.
✓ If you haven’t yet travelled, ATOL will help you get refunded – and in some cases you may be able to continue with your holiday as planned.
What does an ATOL certificate show?
Your ATOL certificate is proof that the holiday you have booked is protected by the ATOL scheme. It will tell you:
✓ What is protected (the holiday)
✓ Who is covered (you)
✓ Who is providing this protection (One Traveller’s name and ATOL number)
Pack peace of mind
Your ATOL certificate will also tell you what to do if there is a problem. For this reason, you should always take it with you on holiday. Don’t forget – you can always view and download a copy from your Guest Portal, too.

ABTA
All One Traveller holidays which do not include flights are financially protected by ABTA (the Association of British Travel Agents). This means, when you book any of our UK based holidays, cruises departing from a UK port, or international holidays departing by Eurostar, your booking will be financially protected by ABTA.
Unlike our ATOL protected holidays, you will not receive a certificate to confirm your protection.
How does ABTA protection work?
In the unlikely event that One Traveller ceases trading after you have booked a package holiday with us that does not include a flight, our ABTA bonding ensures you are again left in safe hands:
✓ If you’re on holiday, ABTA will help you return home again.
✓ If you haven’t yet travelled, ABTA will help you get refunded.
The ABTA Code of Conduct
In addition to the financial protection afforded to our guests by ABTA bonding, One Traveller must also adhere to the strict standards of the Code of Conduct.
The general aim of the code is to promote a consistent level of excellence amongst ABTA members, ensuring guests’ holiday experiences are as positive and memorable as can be. ABTA conducts regular training for its members and ensures the latest rules and regulations are understood and adhered to.
We can also offer our guests ABTA’s scheme for the resolution of disputes. If you have a complaint that we can’t resolve for you, ABTA’s simple procedure can be used to bring the matter to a swift conclusion.
